This month I wanted to highlight Mr. Donan, our only male pup from Taylor’s litter. He’s now over four months old and, Jennifer, his owner, was kind enough to send me some pics to share with you. He’s adjusting quite nicely I’d say from the looks of things as he’s exploring his home. Continue Reading
It’s always a bittersweet moment when the pups leave. While I’ve come to love and adore each of their personalities, I know it’s time for them to head to their new homes where they will receive the one on one love and attention they now need. I served my time caring for them and loving on them ensuring they were socialized and would fit into just about any home. And while I’m quite happy to see them depart, I can’t help but feel a little tinge of sadness as they leave to start their lives with their new families. Continue Reading
You saw the first half of these little pups exploration, it’s time to see part II. They learned what a duck call sounds like and they also got their first exposure to a real duck, frozen of course for training purposes. They had their noses to the ground and couldn’t get enough! Continue Reading
We’re in the final stretch this week as they start to head home over the weekend and their exploration skills have exploded! Everything is new to these pups and they’re taking full advantage of being exposed to all kinds of experiences with nature. We had a couple nice days to really soak in the sunshine and have some fun times! Because I had so many pictures I wanted to share, I’ve divided this post up into two. So, today, enjoy this group and tomorrow you’ll find more! Continue Reading
Well, as I stated in my last post, all those cutesie picture ops are out the door with this group now. At the end of six weeks, they’re busy moving and hustling to their next adventure, which doesn’t include holding still for photographs.
So I took the next best opportunity and snapped some great shots of the pups in their outdoor backyard adventure. Enjoy, cuz I sure had fun watching them run around! Continue Reading
Week five has come and gone, and we’re quickly moving into week six, and cute puppy pictures with props have now become a thing of the past. Let me try and explain with a few keywords…piranhas, velociraptors, T-Rex, Speedy Gonzalas to name a few.
I had grand plans for this past week, and they were quickly shot down, as you’ll see, by some very cute and cuddly puppies that wouldn’t stay still. Continue Reading
These pups are now officially 4-weeks old! So much has happened too! They’re now on solid foods, a bit mushy, but they’re working their way up. Mama Taylor is nursing them less and less, which I can’t blame her if you look at those talon-like claws on her pups! Not to mention their teeth have come in! There have been a few more yelps coming from them as they figure out those teeth are great to bite things with including ears and tails!
So in honor of their cute little faces, I went with a Pretty in Pink theme with the help of my lovely photography assistant, Lauryn. Sleepy puppies cuddled in a pink blanket will warm your heart just like it did mine. Pretty in Pink except for the only boy, Donan, we changed it up a bit for him.
So, sit back and prepared to be bombarded with lots of pics this week as I just couldn’t choose a few. I expect to hear the ooh’s and aww’s from over here!
Enjoy! Continue Reading
I can’t believe these pups are already 18 days old! So much has changed for them too! Their eyes are now open and they’re starting to hear me call to them too. They’re a bit wobbly when they walk, but they’re sure moving around more! And let’s just say it makes it a challenge when trying to change out the whelping box to clean it! Take a peek at these cutie pies!
But first enjoy your puppy sounds brought to you by the letter, “P”. You’re welcome. Continue Reading
